Children love this frisky rocking toy, whilst the contemporary look, funky graphics and natural wood, are real eye-catchers in the modern home. The design challenge involved retaining the essential character of a classic heirloom toy, whilst using advanced techniques and a modular construction system to allow for future additional animal types with minimal part changes. The packaged product also needed to be compact and under 10kg for direct internet sales channels. Use of custom print laminate is a real first, resulting in perfect color/pattern rendition on a totally scratch-resistant surface

KUDU presents irregular shapes and geometry in structure made of high strength deep drawn plate aluminum. This technology is innovative as all the other products on market are manufactured using aluminum extrusion. The main advantage lies in the simple lines, different geometry and the number of sub-assemblies, parts and joints of the pushchair that are kept to a minimum. Therefore, Kudu is very easy to recycle as the chassis only has 3 parts: Handle, front and rear assembly.
Japan is a country with limited access to land for development and natural resources and has developed a rich culture in the past years through the inheritance of a system which nurtures creativity. Furoshiki is the act of covering all forms of object by wrapping them with one piece of clot and Origami is the act of creating different shapes by folding a sheet of paper. With these examples of the Japanese traditions and cultural background in mind, we designed Owl Chair for kids.
Creative Wooden Creatures kit allows children to create a wide range of animals by combining various body parts. Designed for children above the age of 5, it is a universal toy that children from different cultural backgrounds learn and discover animals of land and sea while also designing their own creatures. Challenge was to design a toy kit that offers unlimited possibilities for building creatures with simple, organic forms that foster creativity and perception of aesthetics.
With bird&berry collection we tried to find a balance between parents and child's understanding of aesthetics. The collection combines simple elegance with functionality. Sloped lines are a reminder that nature doesn't think in straight lines thus evoking curiosity and imagination of little ones, to think outside the box and promote them to become in to an independent person. We were focusing on child's needs and the detail while crating every piece. Furniture made with love and attitude becomes something more than just a thing.
