braille blocks

Braille blocks is a children’s toy that allows blind or visually impaired toddlers to understand what surfaces and textures correspond with certain words. Each braille block set comes with 10 wooden blocks, each covered in a unique texture. The word used to describe the texture is written in braille & in print on the top of each block. The set comes with a wooden box for storage in addition to a removable, interactive wood mat for matching. Toddlers will be able to interact with everyday textures and learn how to identify them.

Medical injection is essential to safeguard children's health and keep them protected against illnesses. Most children are scared of getting an injection, and it causes danger when physicians perform it because of the child's motion. The proposed solution is to change the form of a typical syringe to a toy plane to reverse the fear of the patients to motivation. After the procedure, the child gets the toy plane as a souvenir and reward for bravery.

the woonkis

The Wonkis are a family of wooden and magnetics figurines. The objective was to create a wooden toy that could move almost like a human and it was achieved by using kneecaps and magnets as joints. The Wonkis are very flexible. But they had to be nice looking too: their rounded eyes and nose give them a friendly appearance. They have different accessories to create different worlds, from a surfer to a Viking warrior. No plastic, only wood and magnets and steel kneecaps are used. A CNC machine can produce them at a large scale, although a lot of hand finishing is needed as well.

Yohocube

Yohocube cardboard construction kit is an educational toy for kids 6-12 years old and creative adults. Basic elements are cubes and prisms connected with folding fastener. This connection method is unique. International patent application submitted. This connection method differs Yohocube from all other construction kits. Its cardboard details can be securely connected without glue providing the indispensable unity of shape so that the model can be used as a usual toy (tossed, thrown, etc). Some models are strong enough to endure light weight of up to 40 kg and serve as toy furniture.
